This policy explains what personal data we process, why we process it, and your rights when using CV AI Builder.
2. Data we process
We process account data (such as email), CV/profile data entered in the studio, chat prompts, imported PDF or DOCX text, billing metadata, and technical logs needed for security and abuse prevention.
3. Why we process data
Data is processed to provide CV editing, AI assistance, PDF generation, authentication, billing operations, abuse prevention, and support handling.
4. AI processing
Chat prompts and relevant CV context are sent to Infomaniak AI services for assistant responses. The service is configured through Infomaniak endpoints and is not sent to OpenAI API endpoints.
5. Payments and account services
Billing and checkout operations are handled with Stripe. Authentication, data persistence, and database operations are handled through Supabase.
6. Cookies and analytics
The app uses functional cookies (for example language and referral cookies) and may use Umami analytics when enabled in deployment settings.
7. Hosting and transfers
Core infrastructure and PDF generation are hosted in Switzerland. Some processors may process data in other regions under their contractual and legal safeguards.
8. Retention
Resume data is stored until deleted by the user or by request. Temporary PDF compilation files are deleted after each generation. Operational logs are kept for limited periods required for reliability and abuse prevention.
9. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you can request access, correction, deletion, and restriction. Submit requests through the contact page and include enough information to identify your account.
10. Updates
We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical, or product changes. The date above indicates the latest revision.
